More wintry scenes at the Heritage Hub

AN UPDATE TO THIS STORY! - with the help of colleagues at Perth and Kinross Archives we’ve discovered the true identity of the author of this diary.  His name was Ebenezer Faichney.  The Stein or Steven connection is a family connection for him.  We know he was born on Perthshire in 1754 and some other family details that will enable to uncover more!  He was buried in Dryburgh Abbey in...

Wintry weather bemusement
 The Heritage Hub was looking so beautiful in the winter light with all the snow and ice that I just had to grab the camera and take a few pictures.  But the most interesting ones turned out not to be of the Heritage Hub, but of our wildfowl neighbours who live in the river beside us - one of whom was looking distinctly bemused by the weather conditions!
